Parvati Press is an independent press with a mission to publish books that enrich your life.

Independent Publishing

Books that delight the reader

We are an independent press with a vision of quality books in both print and eBook formats. These books are often metaphysical, playful, serious, and thought provoking; they will enrich your life.

Parvati Press has been recognized by the IRS as a 501 (c)(3) corporation, and can accept tax-deductible donations. We are currently in the process of establishing education and outreach programs for independent publishing. Download our mission statement here or see our Mission Statement page.

Some of our authors are Dr. Jane Ely, Traci L. Slatton, and Sabin Howard. More authors are forthcoming; stay tuned!

Parvati Press publishes original voices with enchanting new perspectives. This Press has a specific mission that can be summed up as bringing the human back into humanity. We are passionately engaged in the process of bringing to publication books that will enrich and enhance readers’ lives. Books are the keepers of Soul, and this Press carries that flame with joy!

Our Mission

New and unique authors

Our mission includes publishing a diverse range of fiction and non-fiction in print, eBook, and audiobook format, especially new or unique authors who fall outside the ken of traditional publishers; and to espouse global literacy causes, with a focus on the worldwide literacy of women.

Submissions

Would you like to be considered for publication by Parvati Press?

If you are interested in submitting to Parvati Press, please read our mission statement carefully to determine if your material is a good fit for our stated objectives. Note: Parvati Press believes firmly in the process of revision, which can be stringent. If you are not willing to undergo this process, perhaps multiple times, then please do not submit your work.

If you are a good fit for our objectives, and if you are willing to revise as often as is necessary, then submit a query letter to submissions [at] parvatipress.com. Include “manuscript query” in the subject line. Please do not send a full manuscript nor your only copy of the manuscript. Someone from the Press will respond to your query if your material is felt to be a good fit for the Press.
